Just got a pop-up from Nvidia asking me to accept a new license for an old product, at the same time I'm prompted to restart the puter for a new MS update? Never had this happen before, anyone else expreience this?

The new license is for control panel, windows update refers to display. The card is a 1080ti. Does that help?

I can't access the Nvidia control panel until I agree to the new license. I've hesitated to do so because I've never had this sort of dual notification occur for an older product.

I find O&O ShutUp10++ the easiest way to change Windows update settings (like stop updating HW drivers).
Then reinstall your original driver again?

I bowed down and submitted because sonic studio was also disabled. And it's still disabled. you can't win. lol

Nah, not until I've got reason to.
I used to like checking out new Windows versions, but nowadays there aren't many big improvements/changes anymore.
My offline studio laptop is even still running W10 v1607.
