Use hair dryer, vacuum cleaner etc. And tight wrapping with a blanket. Anything that will make the baby feel like he is submerged in his mother's pool again ;)

Congratulations for becoming a parent! They say the true transition to adulthood is after having a child.
Undoubtedly, it will be a new plateau to learn for both parents and the child.

P.S. I hear playing loud music during a baby's nap time in the early stages of newborn can help the baby adapt to sleeping with loud noises. As they age to toddler, they can sleep easier and won't wake up at the slightest noise.

Hmm. Advice, you say? I'm without offspring, so not sure I got any words of wisdom to share with you. But, I did raise a couple of cats once... If your son meows out loud, it means he's hungry or he's seeking some loving attention. Oh, and always, always keep his litterbox very tidy. :P
