Bethesda: Prey 2006 (but I have a doubt about it cause of licensed music).
Ubisoft: Assassin's Creed 2 and later, Splinter Cell and South Park series.

- Elder Scrolls 6 (which based on ES3 (2002) -> ES4 (2006) -> ES5 (2011) timeline was due in 2016 but wasn't made due to re-releasing ES5 3x over + successfully turning ES5 mods into a cash-cow thus killing off all incentive to actually make new games...

- Elder Scrolls 7 (which based on above timeline was due around 2021-2022) but also wasn't made for same reason...

With Skyrim here already, other than FO4 there's an almost decade-sized hole in which Bethesda have actually made nothing at all that could come here beyond what they've published for others (Arkane, etc)...

Doom 2016 says hello. That's a pretty big one right in the middle of that hole.

That was id Software's game though ("published for others"). I meant Bethesda (as developer) have developed only FO4 for single-player offline titles during the past whole decade vs the 4x major titles (Elder Scrolls 3-5 + FO3) they put out between 2002-2011. It's great that we have some fairly new Arkane titles here (Prey, Dishonored, etc) but not so great they've stopped making "actual Bethesda" games like they used to. Also remains to be seen how MS's acquisition of Zenimax affects things. Will DOOM (2016) and DOOM Mario Edition (2020) come to GOG, or be held back for Xbox Game Pass? Time will tell...

"Sorry Mario, but your games are in another year."

That statement seems to be implying that "more deals" equals "more newly-released games on GOG."

But actually, no, it doesn't mean that at all.

well, i was under the impression skyrim was released here bcuz of the microsoft deal going through, cuz prior to that, Zenimax/Bethesda didnt do jack even after years of crying abt bringing skyrim over here...

one can hope

Assuming "more deals" = "actual new (re)releases", which in case of Ubisoft I find VERY hard to believe after years of continued negligence and ignorance but alright, I'll bite:

Prince of Persia OG Trilogy
Might and Magic X: Legacy
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic
Rest of the Silent Hunter series
Rest of the Splinter Cell series
for starters.

In regards to Bethesda:
OG Doom 3 + Resurrection of Evil
Prey (2006)
Hunted: The Demon's Forge
Rage
The Terminator, The Terminator: 2029, The Terminator: Rampage, The Terminator: Future Shock, Skynet
Magic & Mayhem 1&2

If Doom 2016 is a Bethesda game, then so are:

Wolfenstein: The New Order
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
Wolfenstein: Youngblood
Prey
Dishonored
Deathloop
Doom Eternal
Ghostwire Tokyo
The Evil Within
Hunted: The Demon's Forge
Brink
Rage 2

This is not the complete list of Bethesda published games. I believe AB2012, myself and many others mean games made by the developer Bethesda and not every game released by the publisher Bethesda when we say "Bethesda Games".

edit. I don't presume to speak for any other than myself.

Would love to see Fallout 4, Doom 2016, Doom Eternal, Deathloop and Ghostwire: Tokyo on GOG. Also, from Ubi, basically all of the AC series, all Tom Clancy games (even The Division once GOG rolls out its online games plan), all Far Cry games, etc.
