Hey folks!

I'm new to these forums, and was planning to just leave a review complaining about this until I read the review guidelines and was redirected here, as this is a pricing concern:

A while ago I bought the Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition Standard Edition because the added benefits of the Digital Deluxe Edition didn't outweigh the added cost.

Now, I see that the Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition Digital Deluxe Edition is on sale for even cheaper than what I paid for the Standard Edition - and no, I'm not complaining about this fact because I know that sales happen all the time, etc.

My complaint is that I can't seem to purchase a discounted upgrade to the Digital Deluxe Edition - I'd have to either repurchase the entire game, or purchase the additional bits individually (which combined costs more than the current sale price).

Any idea of the best way to petition GOG.com to offer an upgrade path that actually makes sense?

Please advise.

Thank you.

Hmmm a conundrum.

On sale 90% off, it's $6.82 USD. The original game is on sale for $4.99.

I don't see an upgrade option. Too bad; A simple Deluxe-Normal prices would give you an upgrade price of $1.83. At least in theory.

I suppose you can make a wishlist request; But i often do see upgrade options for other games, so why it's lacking here i couldn't tell you.

And were the game to have recently been purchased (within say 2 weeks) getting a refund to re-purchase for the discounted rate doesn't really work; Though Steam automatically gives refunds of those types as i guess they were tired of that. But feeling cheated that you could have saved $10 by waiting 3 days is something that is more annoying to gamers.

And if we try to fix this through the ticket system, you will be waiting literally weeks, maybe months.
It's just one of the many games without upgrade option. People are complaining on these for years so don't count anything will change. Especially such a long time after release.

At least in this case you can buy all the pieces individually, which also have good discounts currently. If you don't actually need soundtracks, portraits and all modules available, the price should be just couple bucks for the best modules.
