It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I'd try Netflix, but our internet is going to die from the thought of running it. The download speed is simply too limited to keep up with whatever it has in store. Even then, I'd hate for my bandwidth to be affected 24/7 just because my family is streaming some movies, so certainly its not a win for me, at least for today, but I can say that this is good.

Now, GOOGLE PLAY, RELEASE ALL YOUR SERVICES WORLDWIDE ALREADY!

EuroMIX: Interesting. Never heard of this before. I do recall a similar service that worked as an add-on in Firefox. MediaHint, I think it was called, but it jumped from free to paid after about a year with little warning and I stopped using it. Curious what will become of this new one.
wouldn't recommend hola bc of this: http://www.cnet.com/news/security-researchers-claim-hola-operates-as-insecure-botnet/ so would recommend rather using another Vpn service - might even work with the free version of Cyberghost - never really tested it with it though as i use a paid VPN service

I do not buy into stuff that cannot be archived and stored locally for offline use.

Tarm: Is China having piracy protectionist issues?
avatar
BrandeX: No, it's the same as the true reason why there is no Youtube, Facebookm, Twitter, and so on either.
There are already streaming on demand services here in China people can pay for if they want. (Legal and licensed). The government blocks similar foriegn sites and services so the people can only buy from local companies.
I guessed as much. Just thought commenting about them protecting their piracy industry would make a good joke. ;)

Hunter65536: No credit card, can't even sign up for the trial month. :'(
You need a credit card for this? Meh, that`s totally bullshit! So: No Netflix for me!!!

Would actually be very handy for me if it did, because a) All programs on TV are bad b) Schedule conflicts when it comes to a few good ones and/or them already being in 3rd season or so.

OK someone needs to push debit cards ASAP. Or via paypal using debit cards at least. Then again, you'll still need good internet to watch the stuff at proper watchable resolutions.
Meh

Actually, you can do that with Netflix using PlayOn...
I followed the link, thought it was weird, clicked the "this information was not helpful", gave the complementary information that it was "confusing", now I *need* to tell them to make a list of the countries where Netflix is not available.

As far as I understand it should be something like China, North Korea , Ta̶i̶w̶a̶n̶, Tibet ..... [edit : Syria]

It changes all the time. Due to their limited-time licensing agreements, movies and series are constantly being added and removed from the streaming service (which doesn't happen NEARLY so much with the mail-order DVD service, if that's available where you live). The main problem I have with it is that they give you NO INDICATION of when a show is going to "expire" -- even when you have it in your watchlist. I have no idea what their rationale for this is, but it's really stupid.
Anyway, there are various "fan" sites dedicated to tracking what's currently on Netflix, what's coming soon, and what's leaving soon, since Netflix is uninterested in providing that information themselves. However, for the reason I mentioned earlier, it'll have to be tracked region-by-region, so you might have to look around a bit to find the info without signing up for Netflix.

Yeah, the way Netflix is setup now is kind of pointless. For example their own production House of Cards is not available in my country which kind of beats the point of their service if they can't offer their own series there :)
Isn`t there a series on Netflix about that the Nazis have won the war? Will this be available in Germany?
