Hi. I have this wierd problem, happening after updating GOG Galaxy some time ago.
When I launch GOG Galaxy nothing happens when I click the exe file or the icon for the exe file.
Then when I click/launch the second time, it launches.
This happens every time!
I need to click twice to make it open!
What can be the problem?
I have tried to check the task manager, but nothing there, until I launch GOG Galaxy the second time.
Strange.
Any solution much appreciated. Thanks.

Got the same problem, learned to live with it...
Maybe your AV is blocking it the 1st time?

I just checked the log. Nothing has been blocked.
Thanks for the help though.
Uninstall the program, ensure that all leftover files are deleted, and then reinstall it. This may help resolve the issue.

You can do it manually by deleting anything in the install folder and registry. Or you could use Revo Uninstaller witch dose that all for you.

I have the same problem. Most of the time (not always) I have to click on GOG Galaxy twice to make it start. I did it as a fresh install on one of my laptops, I have no antivirus installed and I noticed this on all my other machines as well - a desktop and the Rog Ally X. This is clearly a bug.

Additionally when I try to search for updates via Gog Galaxy it just searches forever. I had to reinstall the new version by hand via the installer.
