Hello,
I have unusual problem. Ever since quitting the university, I got lots of free time. I tried filling my time with reading books and gaming, but I'm fed up with that. I kind of wish to do something and have some stocks to fill my pockets, not much though.
I mostly eat, sleep, game/read all day long.

I don't have
job
friends (I just visit my old aunt from time to time)
pets
hobbies

So any help or suggestion to fill my time would be great.

EDIT: I'm looking for a job, but my situation with mental health and living in small city + lack of xp and ed means I don't have lots of chances landing a job soon.

The most obvious is get a job and all the rest will be satisfied.
Go to your nearest charity shop, buy an acoustic guitar and a chord book. Bam! You're busy for the rest of your life. Seriously, I had to retire due to injury and learning guitar has been a godsend. Even when I'm not learning songs, it is great just to fiddle with when watching movies etc. It's also reasonably cheap if you know where to look.

Also job hunting would be good, but that can be stressful.

I disagree, sometimes working is the worst thing you can do for your mental state. Obviously you need to work, but if it'll effect your health. You need to be careful.

Yes,well the OP done a post edit after my comment.
Tat flipping is perhaps an option. Look for shit to buy that you can then sell online for a higher price. There are apps where you can just scan the barcode of pretty much anything and find out in ten seconds the average price on sites like Amazon and eBay, so it's easier than ever before. Thrift stores are a great source of underpriced random guff, though pretty much any other store that's having a sale will also work.

It'll bring in some presumably much needed dollarydoos and occupy all the free time you would care to throw at it. Win-win, by the sounds of things.

hobbies
Well, that's your problem, right there.

Get one (or several) hobbies.

Darthspudius has a great idea with learning to play an instrument.
I'd add learning to draw/paint.

Also, have you considered doing some unsalaried work for your community?
Helping people who are even worse off than you, definitely gives your "reason for being" a boost.

And the time is not just "wasted"(*), but used for an actual meaningful purpose. And you may find some new friends that way.
(*) (not that learning something new should ever be considered as wasting time)

Art is a great suggestion.
I did some acryllic drawing, but these work were hideous and I only can do abstract work. But maybe I should return to that and learn from practice.
lift weights and learn to draw and/or paint.
You could always take up some volunteer work. Something social in your city/community. That will keep you as busy without putting you under pressure (since you can work exactly as much as you are able to). You will also help other people and as a bonus that will look good on your CV when applying for jobs. I was unable to do regular work a few years ago due to health. But I did some translation and resource distribution work for a nearby refugee center and that worked out nicely.

Other than that: get some friends or relations. Volunteer work or some social hobby, that you do with others (dancing or sports, if you are able to) are good for that. If contact with people is difficult for you, you could walk the dogs in some pet center. Or get a pet yourself.

Other people's shite is another person's gold. Just look at some "modern art" and feel good about yourself. You likely have ten times the talent of these so called "artists" lol
If any small NGO asks for volunteers, join. You'll meet excellent (and of course horrible) people, you'll get busy, useful to the people who genuinely need help, and each door will open on ten more doors. And the meaning of your activity will dwarf other concerns.

Edit. Just noticed Lifthrasil already said it a couple of minutes before me. And I was about to post on how Lifthrasil's following post (about writing) was correct aswell.

So, basically : listen to Lifthrasil.

Erm, isn't gaming a hobby (which i presume it is 4 u since u r on GOG)? There r plenty of free games over here & on Steam which shd be more than enough 4 u 2 handle if u aren't considering paid games which might put a strain on ur finances since u hvn't find a job yet. :)

If u still hv no idea which game can fill ur free time, i recommend u play DOTA2. I do 1 2 add a warning though, u may find it addictive enough (assuming u r into RTS-RPG games) that u probably will end up spending too much of ur free time playing it so pls dun blame me if u suddenly find urself hving a lack of free time more than wondering wat 2 do with them, lol. ;p

Edit: Oops, apparently i missed the part where u mentioned u r fed up with gaming. Haha, apologies. In that case, surfing the net, watching interesting/funny YouTube vids & checking out other ppl 's FB pages will usually take up more than enough of ur free time. Well, @ least these methods sure worked 4 me. =D

Edit 2: If the abv methods r not wat u fancy or ur cup of tea, i do suggest finding more hobbies. Not gonna recommend any but since u hv much free time i'm sure u can think of 1 that u wld like do, hope u solve ur unusual prob soon. :)

Oh, and I wrote a book when I was in a similar situation. A collection of poems with some pictures I painted. Even got printed in a micro-edition which sold reasonably well. So you could just start writing and see where you get with that.
