Not exactly sure what they're called, the small plastic support things on the back of keyboards which prop them on a desk. Well one of mine broke today. Anyone know if it's possible to buy replacements on ebay or elsewhere, and what their proper name is? I am using a Microsoft Wired Keyboard 600.

Replace, maybe. But it might be easier to just 3D print a replacement.

Do you need to be able to fold them back into the keyboard periodically, or will the deck be propped up permanently?

Just use blu-tack. It fixes virtually everything but everything and tastes great too!

Tried the black stuff. It's too thin and if you try and build it up, it just wiggles.

It is better for your hands NOT to ever use those feet. If anywhere, the feet should be placed at the front for a more ergonomic slant on the keyboard.
