Hi Everyone I am posting this announcement here because myth 2 Soulblighter from 1998 and is pretty much abandonware with no platform yet. I am posting here as its one of the few ways to bring new and old players back to this very unique classic RTS game.

As a active pillar of the myth community our discord channel (link below) assists in obtaining the hard to get software to setting up the community run online servers. This tournament provides the perfect opportunity to jump straight in just like I did in 2008!

Myth World Cup 2021 is coming! Probably the longest tournament series that I can think of still running.
After a "perfect storm" year last year, lets see who comes in and grinds out the crown this year.

and a free agents

That would be a trow. Just so you are aware myth 2 has a free downloadable port for the entire myth 1 campaign (the fallen lords).
Myth 2 also has the function of playing in myth 1 physics if desired on nearly any map.
Myth 2 also has been patched to allow in progress multiplayer co-operative to be joined.
So if you decide to come back you can get help by playing online the single player campaign with all the pre game cutscenes.

sounds fun , maybe in the future , so many games installed already waiting for their turn atm

This game is the best tactical RTS you will find since the 90s until today. With caotic battles, and unexpected outcomes everytime you play!
