omega64: Victor Vran needs to be played with a gamepad?
It felt really weird when using a gamepad, M+K all the way.

Senestoj: Ok just my opinion, for DS3 too some players find M+K fine.
I haven't actually played any DS games.
Are they any good?
While I do like some of the other games mentioned here, I personally feel Torchlight II is the best of the lot; though I wouldn't count on it coming to GOG any time soon unfortunately. I was lucky enough to get a DRM free version from Humble Bundle about 2 years ago, I do not believe that the Humble Bundle store sells TL2 separately. TL2 also has plenty of stable mods to keep the game fresh such as Synergies, Hack 'N' Slash Essentials, Thrasher's Armory, Abysm, Unearthed Arcana, etc... Also here's a database of TL2 items : http://tidbi.ru/eng/

Mmmm if you can bear only top classic amazing games then none will match.

Some will argue DS1 matches it but in my opinion not even DS1 match the clear "classic game" tag because in a full run it starts feel rather repetitive past half of the game or past 2/3.

DS2 worth better than its fame in my opinion, its problem is to have disappoint players fan of DS1. But still in my opinion it never feel repetitive as does DS1, overall DS1 first half is quite better than DS2 but DS2 is a good fun for a full play and it's DLC is even a bit better.

DS3 is a minor game but quite enjoyable, just don't expect much replayability, the DLC worth it. DS3 is also a style change, it's not anymore Diablo like combats style with a team, and for most players it is better with a gamepad. The parallel to Victor Vran is strong even if VV could has much better K+M controls. Still it's similar combats design, VV adding more tricks and ideas but can't compete on the story point of view.

svmariscal: Thanks all for your answers. Torchlight 2 would be the perfect choice indeed, I hope we see it soon here. In the meantime, will check your other suggestions.

Thanks again.

omega64: Don't count on Torchlight 2 getting here.
Why is that?
If you're interested, the TL2 demo is available here: http://www.torchlight2game.com/download

Because direct questions asking Runic Games about a DRM free version being made on available GOG have been rebuffed on multiple occasions.

I double this.
You should play Torchlight 2.
Although I have never played TL2 multiplayer but I have traded 6 copies till date and all because they wanted to play it with someone.
I also think Dungeon Defenders Complete has multiplayer mode as last year a community member wanted to get it for his wife so that they could play it together. However it's a tower defense game.
Well, she could dress like a nurse and then...

XD
Well, it turns out I already had Sacred in my backlog and I completely forgot :D I guess that's what happens when you're a compulsive buyer.

We'll have a try at it to see what happens. What about Sacred 2? Is it worth it if we have Sacred Gold already?

It is, they're different games after all. :P
Sacred 3 is pretty fun though really repetitive and more of a hack and slash.

better graphics, better design... it copied Titans Quest formula and skill layout... but S2 is on gog and TQ isnt... story isn't as good, its the B team static/random ARPG

Its like comparing Two-Worlds to The Witcher
Path of Exile, definitely. One of the best traditional aRPGs I have played in ages. Then again, it can be pretty daunting.

Shadowstalker16: Path of the Exile may be good if you're into MMO stuff.
Path of Exile is not an MMO.
