Wow, that Indiana Jones title brings back a lot of memories. It was so awesome to play a game that felt like one of the movies, mostly, and I think I finished it over a weekend rental. It's a shame more games like it never came out, though Nathan Drake and Lara Croft certainly picked up the tomb-robbing slack later on. Maybe I'll give it another go at sale price later.
WOW GOG! So many masterpieces. I'm certain you've made the day for a lot of people.

The only game I never even heard of is Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb. It kinda looks like Tomb Raider, but staring the original tomb raider, so it should be great.

Finally, The Dig! Now do Full Throttle! I hope the speculation of a remastered version doesn't come true, I'd much prefer the original versions of it, Grim Fandango and especially the Monkey Island games. I realize you can switch between the original and the remake, but I don't feel especially compelled to shell out more for less.

Wouldn't have expected the Indy game, I remember the reviews back when it came out unfavorably comparing it to Tomb Raider. Still, it's...archaeologically interesting :p
when can we expect full throttle and days of the tentacle?
Day of the Tentacle will probably have to wait till Doublefine is done with the Remastered- Just like Grim Fandango.
I was waiting for The Dig and LOOM. Thank you.
Fantastic bunch of releases, thanks a lot Disney & GOG!

Telika: It was excellent, it didn't capitalize on boob service...
So it doesn't feature Sallah, eh?

avatar
Telika: ... it had the indy atmosphere perfectly faithfully done, it had fantastic fistfight with wonderful baddies comportment (i adored their little come-and-get-it gestures when you hesitated), and it has an accidentally removable hat that you had to care for because hey, it's the hat.
Now that's what I call a stellar selling point. You had me at 'hat'.
Oh, magnificent GOG Tthe Great - Outlaws?

(*Bowing down in Two Johns style*)
We´re not worthy, we´re not worthy...
nice to see these games, but the prices are really too steep for decades old games, even with the discount sale. I'll pass
Great to see more titles from Lucasfilm! But it still couldn't beat out the Star Wars franchise for me. May lots of the good stuff from this wave be grabbed by everyone! :D

o.O Just goes to show one just can't please everyone.

Yeah, I can understand waiting for a big sale (cheapskate that I am), but to call a $6 game too expensive is just, IMHO, wackadoo.
Yesss, Outlaws! Thanks Disney and GOG! I'll be looking forward to Shadows of the Empire and Yoda Stories too, but those probably won't come till much much later. Still, plenty of other GOG games to play in the meantime. :)
Thanks especially for Outlaws!!!
