Hey with all the MOO talk I wanted to reinstall MOO2 on my windows 10 PC and it keeps coming up incompatible program. I tried the compatibility modes for 7,8 and XP. It still wont install just sits there. Is there a trick to installing on Windows 10?

Try InnoExtractor to unpack gog setup and then play it. Just drag and drop the installer on installed innoextractor

EDIT: InnoExtractor Worked more efficiently than InnoExtract

Could also be an antivirus issue, you could try pausing it when you run the installer.
Or a corrupt download, but I assume you already tried downloading it again.

You need to extract Milk into the subfolder bottle, then copy over some Grass, and apply the herd patch.

Out of curiosity, what version of the installer are you using? Is it the 1.x.x.x series or the 2.x.x.x series? (Being an older game i wouldn't expect it to be the 2 series)
No its Windows 10 pops up a message telling me its a incompatible program and wont install. This is downloading the exe file and installing it.

Do other GOG installers work? Or is it not only a problem with MOO2?

E:
Have you tried changing compatibility mode AND running the installer as an administrator?

Reminds me recently when trying to install an old webcam where the last version of the driver was for vista. Manually extracting the installer files made the drivers accessible, and they worked fine even on windows 7...

Extracting the files with innoextract (as previously mentioned) might do the job. But as a workaround it seems annoying.

That's weird, that's the message Windows gives when you try and run a 16-bit program on a 64-bit OS, for example if you try and run a DOS/Windows 3.1 program it throws up that message.

I was going to ask if you were trying to run your original disc or something, but you mention downloading it. You are talking about the GOG version, right? Because the message you're getting sounds like you're trying to run a 'raw' DOS version.
