Removed Dragon's Lore series as Dragons' Lore 1 was added today and updated changes noting this
(Damien's list of incomplete series will now note the omission of Dragon's Lore 2)

Wargasm (Infogrames, or Atari as we know them now)
Hardwar (Wikipedia lists Gremlin and Interplay; the former was bought by Infogrames)

says that a lot of the odds and ends went to Tommo but Wargasm isn't listed among them so who knows where its gone

As for Harwar, it seems that usually when the publishers are listed as Interplay and Gremlin it means that Interplay were the North American distributors
Out of the 5 Gremlin games that are here 1 (VR Soccer) is listed as Interplay, 1 (Fragile Alligence) was broght here by UrbanScan (however THEY are) and the other 3 by Blue Moon Red Owl (equally obscure) so it looks like the rights to those one are all over the place too, sadly

Lets hope they both turn up on GOG but I can't really add them to my list, thanks for contributing though

In other news I removed The Shivah from the list! Yay!

That document relates to Atari, Inc. and Atari Interactive, Inc. (and Humongous, Inc. and California U.S. Holdings, Inc.). The (French) parent company which used to be Infogrames is Atari, SA, so it's no wonder the Infogrames properties aren't mentioned as part of the American bankruptcy sale.

Meanwhile, the purchase of the Infogrames-published Outcast was from Atari Europe SAS, [url=http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/private/snapshot.asp?privcapId=27884120]seemingly another subsidiary (so presumably not the Atari Europe which Namco Bandai acquired a few years ago). So it oversimplifies matters to say that 'Atari went bust and sold all their rights at auction', but I agree that tracking down French bankruptcy filings to make sure they haven't sold off Wargasm would be a troublesome affair.

Ah yes, thanks, hadn't even considered the whole Atari Inc. vs. Atari SA angle, but AFAIK Atari SA are just as much in receivership as the rest of the company right?
So even if they haven't sold off the rights they're in no state to be able to bring anything new to GOG right?
Although, I've just looked are there ARE still a fair few titles in the catalogue here with 'Atari' listed as Publisher - I'll tell you what, if anything new gets added to the catalogue from Atari / Atari SA or whatever I'll go through and try to separate what Atari Inc would have sold off and what Atari SA probably still have hold of and are able to publish and Wargasm will be top of that list

Autoduel and a game I owned on C64 called 'Ogre' are based on 'Steve Jackson Games' table top board games and so count as licensed IP

Times of Lore is apparently by Chris 'Wing Commander' Roberts, which is interesting!
Interesting - I suspected I wasn't going to add this one because its the publisher that really counts much more than the developer and while Flying Wild Hog developed both, Shadow Warrior was published by Devolver Digital and Hard Reset wasn't
However, Steam lists 2 Publishers for hard Reset - Flying Wild Hog themselves AND 1C Softclub which is part of the 1C Company so it turned out that I COULD add it under 1C Company!

Removed Blackthorn from Interplay and added this to changes:

Removed "Blackthorne (Blizzard - Interplay - may have gone to Activision with Blizzard)" as it Blizzard released it on their site as freeware, confirming that they control the rights"

As I say, this confirms the rights are with Blizzard and, even thought Blizzard are part of Activision, I don't include them as they seem to have a pretty strong policy about controlling the distribution of their games (Diablo 3 never made it to Steam, for example)
