rtcvb32: This is likely because you don't have SP1 (For Windows 7), some bug in the updater that won' t let you upgrade.

I managed to get SP1 installed after a fluke of using the Unreal engine kit did something and fixed my machine. Very weird.
ive got SP 1 but still i cant upgrade KB2999226 :/

I helped Gog removal and installation on behalf of the administrator and the installation is not on the system drive.

Try WSUS offline to update your update server as MS broke the Windows 7 update server possibly intentionally to get people to upgrade to Win 10.

This is a Microsoft problem, not a GOG or Galaxy problem.

If you experience this error during the start of the program.you need to (re)install the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, either via Windows Update or download and directly install the Visual C++ Redistributable:

It is gog's problem too!
I'm having |1-1-0.dll error as well for past 2.5 years and my refund wallet is growing because I'm having the same problems as others.
I will have no option to play on my windows 7pro soon because of microsoft and you too gog! (I remember one day three years ago galaxy stopped working after you'be updated it. |1-1-0.dll error.

I've tried everything so I'm done with trying to fix something that wasn't broken before. I will never install windows 10 even if you played me! err, sorry; payed me.

Gog was my last hope for PC but now I can't even play most recent games because of this dll.

Choice. Yes I made a choice to build an offline gaming PC because I want to run it at optimum. No outside garbage nor data collection which ffs should be illegal!

Microsoft and other large corrupt tech companies; You have no ethics! and most definitely you don't have my money anymore!
