I have a Cherry MX-Board 3.0 with cherry brown switches. It's also available with red, blue and maybe black switches. I preferred brown switches, because like the blues they are tactile and good for typing, but with a less noisy click. Also they are easier to press.

Pro
- paid 70€ here in germany, so not really expansive for a mechanical keyboard
- clean and compact design
- removable usb micro (or mini?) cable.
- thanks to a key combination you can disable the window keys (good for gaming)
- fine build quality
Con
- half-size caps, which means not easily changeable if you want to mod your keyboard). I like them though.
- some caps are not easy detachable because of integrated leds (num-key, win-keys, caps-lock)
- no extra stuff like backlight or usb-hub
Edit:
