[This is a sticky post, it will be visible in every single page of this thread. It has been published in October 2020.]

Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

That being said, here you can find a post with dxenija's community poll to have better understanding of the situation: CLICK.

At the time of writing, open giveaway threads are:
- Massive Giveaways Blog (this one)
- Free (temporary) keys giveaway central topic.
- Updated Itch.io giveaways

Be nice to each other *flies away*

Is there a way to get these Microsoft Store games without having a Microsoft Store?
It's the first thing I remove post a new win 10 installation (which is pretty much standard on many Work stations), nor I have any Windows Mobile device.
I guess these are associated with a Live account - so theoretically can be added to the account without accessing the actual store app? You know, like with Steam / Epic / Uplay or most other Games stores that are accessible via a browser or api?
Be careful with that.
It has a stolen Overwatch cover art, and they stole the screenshots from Meltdown.
Big chance it is a malware.

Keep in mind everyone can check freebies at indiegala. You're just spamming the thread with games that their most worthy part is their free price, and if anyone is interested in these games, they can just check that link every other day. I'm sorry, but your post are just spam.

Everybody can check every other store (Epic, Humble, GOG, Steam, Itch.io, etc.) as well. So what's your point? This thread is for announcing games that are free for a limited time and that's exactly what they does. And you might not like them, but some of the games given away by Indiegala aren't that bad.

Except, epic, gog, steam, humble, only do few games a year, and they aren't potential malware... sorry to be blunt.

Epic does at least one game per week (sometimes more), same goes for Steam and Itch.io. And any proof for malware in an Indiegala freebie. Or is it just an argument, because you don't like them?

Microsoft. The complaint was for a Microsoft game because of the stolen cover art, not Indiegala. The bad box art turns up over there, just as much as Google Play, but that is no indicator of malware. I've actually seen a clever box art imitating Assassin's Creed, and a Lego version of another game, both which might seem misleading, but it's clear they're just imitators.

TBH M$ does need to clean up the rules about these things, but I doubt they would allow malware to turn up on their own platform.

Anyways, please stop arguing, y'all!

Anyhow, Elite (1984) Is free. I didn't even put in CC info, which is cool.

There's another free game on Epic, Auto Chess, which seems to be permanent, but wasn't to my attention before at least on here.

I don't know what's your problem with me but the posts I create is within the rules. Take a look at post #1.

mike_cesara: Since Free (temporary) keys giveaway central topic went out of hands, I've decided to open new one with simpler rules.

Massive giveaways only, like the ones on GOG, Steam, Origin, Uplay, HumbleBundle, Giveaway of the Day etc.
no code dropping!
no begging for games!

I guess it is 3 weeks old, maybe not...... dunno....... but nobody linked it so far.

Everyone who will turn on EA Login Verification during October 2019 will get Origin Access Basic for free. To do it, you must:

-Visit EA Account security settings
-At Login Verification section, press "Turn On"
-Select how you want to get code (email, text, call, app authenticator) and use it to activate Login Verification

The free month of Origin Access Basic will start on November 1, 2019. If you are already a member of Origin Access Basic or Premier, you won't be charged during that month.
