[This is a sticky post, it will be visible in every single page of this thread. It has been published in October 2020.]

Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

2) It's possible the GMG offer will still be going after the Steam offer ends.
3) Some people don't like Steam, and prefer having games elsewhere.
4) More options for free games is always a good thing, no?
1) There is no "other version" of this game unless you're talking about the console or hard copy, and this giveaway is not clearly marked for those.

2) There's no advantage. The price change should have reflected the change on Steam (or, really shouldn't be on their catalogue at all). The giveaway is clearly worded to be "limited" (and at this point it is surprising all those keys haven't run out by now), and doesn't say what they're going to do once it ends, other than by default they're less likely going to change the price if they're going to be selling keys for it. If they were going to change it, why would there be a "giveaway" in the first place?

3) Once again, as in point 1, there is no other "version" on PC. It's only on Steam. You can't get the game elsewhere unless you're buying the physical copies or using the console, and this giveaway does not apply to them.

4) Overall, in this situation, "more options" is nonexistent.

i would just respond to your third point, life is strange is on gog but other than being drm free there is no other difference like you said that all

Not LIS2, which was what this giveaway was for.

And for that matter, DRM on GMG is for Steam, not GOG.

It may be worth noting that GOG does not have the games from the franchise which have Denuvo, so....
