Hallo there you all, I have an unsolvable problem (as it seems to me right now) with gaming on Mac (which is stupid, but bear with me).
I've bought a Hotline Miami dilogy on GOG to play (some nostalgia vibes here). But I've recently (well, almost a year already) sold my PC gaming station and as of now, I'm stuck with a crappy (in gaming terms I mean) Macbook 12" As you might know, it has only ONE port for everything, and I don't have a hub to simultaneously power it and connect my controller wired-ly. But my lovely white Xbox One S Controller with Bluetooth capability won't function normally while connecting wirelessly to my Mac. Well, almost. I've used this controller with Steam's Big Picture and it seem to have some proprietary drivers to make bluetooth gamepad work.
So, what's the problem exactly? Well, button mapping is messed up. And I mean it. Apparently, start button is A button, face buttons are replicating Dpad buttons (and Dpad is not working btw). I don't really know what to do. As support on GOG said to use Enjoy2 to map joystick as keyboard and mouse, it makes game experience... Meh? You know, it doesn't work properly, because of digital vs analog controls. So I'm searching for a proper way to play game with Xinput (or what is this?).
Also, 360Controller (some piece of software/driver for OSX to work with 360 controllers) isn't working with bluetooth protocols of Xbox One S Controller. So, it won't work.
Does anyone know what to do? Maybe, someone had to deal with this thing, huh? Also, if there's already an answer to it - I'm sorry, just post a link in reply.
