Death Proof was by far the better part of Grindhouse. But Planet Terror was good too.

Can't tell if Mel Gibson is just being himself though, or if they asked him to act like a lunatic. Is the first one as good (/bad you know)?
Watch the first Machete. It's even better, like people have said already.

I saw the first one and thought it was pretty bad/stupid/boring. Saw a preview for the 2nd one and it looked even worse.

and ummm, Death Proof is waayyyy better than Planet Terror, which was just okay (interesting how Rodriguez can hit a homerun or completely strike out with his movies.)

I tend to think the better movies have Tarantino as a back-seat director.

Death Proof is way better than Planet Terror yes.
