January 20:
A long time ago in a galaxy near you, ©Disney Interactive and GOG.com teamed up to bring you the holy grail of classic gaming: six Lucasfilm cult-classics were added to our DRM-free catalog, including three titles which saw their digital premiere on GOG.com. We also made a promise to bring you many more cult-classics in the future and, believe us, we did not forget.

Today, with great pride and joy, we're excited to announce Wave II of Lucasfilm games on GOG.com! Starting right now, six new Star Wars™ classics are available in our DRM-free Lucasfilm/Disney catalog. This includes three amazing titles available, for the first time in digital distribution, exclusively on GOG.com:

Star Wars™: X-Wing Alliance™ - digital distribution debut, on GOG.com!
Star Wars™ Galactic Battlegrounds Saga - digital distribution debut, on GOG.com!

We're also celebrating the DRM-free release of these Star Wars™ games with a 72-hour 20% launch discount:
Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II
Star Wars™: Dark Forces
Star Wars™ Knights of the Old Republic™ II: The Sith Lords™

Just in case you missed your chance last time, you can grab three more Lucasfilm classics for the same 20% discount, until Friday, January 30, at 1:59 PM GMT!
Star Wars™ Knights of the Old Republic™
Indiana Jones® and the Fate of Atlantis™
The Secret of Monkey Island™: Special Edition

Our Lucasfilm/Disney is made that much more impressive today thanks to our team-up with ©Disney Interactive. The 6 new Star Wars™ releases, which include 3 digital premieres exclusively on GOG.com, are barely the beginning. We're not saying more right now, but we know the wait will be worth it for six great reasons - keep watching the front page and stay tuned for more exciting Lucasfilm titles releasing on GOG.com when the timer strikes zero!

phaolo: This was a cool wave, but I'm already waiting for the next! ; )

(p.s: GOG, you haven't forgotten Rebel Assault games, right?)
Oh man, I did! I totally forgot about them. They were very different games, but pretty fun! It was like playing the movies.
Mac users can`t be satisfied - only 2 games in both waves? :( At least there`s Indy - love Fate of Atlantis soooo much :)

I read somewhere here, that GOG is in talks with Aspyr who did Mac ports of some of the SW games, so it is possible that Mac users will get more in the (I hope near) future.
My wallet is on fire, could you stop releasing so much awesomeness gog? hmm? please? ;)

So, who else finds gog's stupid and wrong advertising stupid and wrong?

Apparently, some of the games have their "digital premiere", or in the french version, "Pour la 1re fois en version digitale", which means "for the first time in the digital version".

My old X-Wing vs. Tie-fighter disc is digital, so this is obviously wrong advertising by gog.

By "digital premiere" we mean "first time offered via digital distribution" :)
I'll will buy these 3 new releases but i'm somewhat disapointed there's no outlaws and SWOTL release because they are 2 important Lucasarts FPS and SIM releases to date...

Gonchi: Hopefully we start seeing LA's classic P&C adventures and stuff like Outlaws soon/next.
AGREED!

You might be the only one. I certainly understand exactly what they're saying.

So why don't you write what you mean? The English version might be debatable, but the French version is definitely wrong advertising.

gandalfnho: Nice, will wishlist Republic Commando for now, but Jedi Knight is a instabuy for me

Hope Wave III includes Outlaws.
It didn't we can hope that common sense will prevail...

BJ Wanlund: "Such classics as Curse of Monkey Island, Outlaws (please), and others? Pretty please?"
Seth: "Stay tuned!"
YAY :-D So far I bought only 4 LA games but if they start to flood us with those non-SW - my wallet will bleed :-P
I hope they don't forget about really old oldies such as PHM PEGASUS
I hope wave 3 will be the missing adventure games and the more obscure awesome games like Outlaws and Afterlife.
Excellent games! Thank you, GOG!

I'm mostly hoping we someday get Shadows of the Empire, Maniac Mansion/Day of the Tentacle, and the Curse of Monkey Island.
C'mon guys ! Don't be so picky !

All of thoses releases are awesome ! All of them deserved to be on GoG, DRM-Free, and often with the support and expertise of Gog engineers (I think especially of Rogue Squadron).

The Lucasart catalog is a chest full of golden coins, will can't fill ours pockets with all of them at once !

Good things will come !
