Okay, of X-wing and Tie-Fighter I had the original CD roms (both DOS and Win versions) so I kept procrastinating.

But X-wing vs Tie Fighter?
A pain to install on 64bit systems and costant cd swapping, I'll get it at once when I'll be able to load some money on my pre-paid card.

Wishbone: And why couldn't you say a thing, if I may ask? No, wait, don't tell me, "You can't say", right?
Because NDA, that's why :P

RadonGOG: What the heck? At least the edition sold in Germany clearly isn´t!
No mention of online connection necessary here.
No mention, either, for the second one.

I'm usually okay with being very poor, but this makes it hurt a bit.

Those two games, online activation? That's impossible.
Nooow, I just noticed that the LA games I bought had all sorts of different language versions included. Which is positively awesome!

Actually, that might get me to buy 'Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine', if it should be released here. It may be an utterly mediocre game that has aged terribly, but the German version was ace, since they got Harrison Ford's German voice actor to reprise his part.

ShadowOwl: Argh, I really wish I could buy the GOG release of X-Wing Alliance, but I gotta save money for my health insurance. :/ It's the game which originally brought me to PC gaming! :)
Buying & playing XWA is good for your mental health.

Well you could have still vaguely hinted at it ala enigmatic hints. ;)

Maybe... I just keep thinking back to the games I've played before and they felt a little lackluster... KotoR, Force Unleashed, Clone Wars heros... Yeah fun to a certain degree, but the Bioware's KotoR always felt a little... odd. Maybe it was the facial animations, or maybe it was the 3 predictable options everywhere in dialog... or something...

Although I loved the Clone Wars tv series until it was cut, the the movies although fun to watch never quite grabbed me. I don't know.

So the whole "release in batches of 6 games at a time and keep everything, especially release dates and game titles, a deep dark secret from the people whose money we want" is the official plan from the clever heads at the Disney marketing department? Good to know.

Well, not knowing that this was coming, I'm flat broke right now, so I won't be buying any of the games from this batch right now. Seeing how that means I'll miss the introductory discount, I probably won't be buying any of them in the near future either. Great marketing strategy. Good job getting my money, Disney. Well done.

No way, not with LA/Disney games. Sorry but those are too big for hints.

As far as I can tell, the German retail version uses a SecuRom disc check. No online activation. (I guess the list qualifies everything that doesn't require an internet connection to play as DRM-free.)

Maybe if they allowed it. Unfortunately there's quite a history with companies cutting ties and contracts when something was revealed that wasn't suppose to be, and then things going to shit.

Not telling anyone to keep the surprise alive is one thing... I hate NDA's.

He knows that. He did say this, though.
