I was under the impression that that was supposed to be a sheepdog in the foreground.

And while it's sleeping, the UFO in the background, busy stealing a sheep, is being piloted by a wolf.

gog already has a formless mascot. It is DRM-free. That is the representation of gog.

Is gog just trying to freak us out with the esoteric stories behind their own monolithic idols? Are they trying to become... Gods? Wolves... sheep... squirrels... lions... tigers... bears... BEARS? GOG-Bear? Gog, make up your mind what kind of animal spirit you want to be. We don't have all day.

GOG staff is animist. I'm sure they make offering to animals
Idols and sacrifice virgins in order to have the rights for classic games.

Mascot has to have a shape, be it an animal, human or a shape of an object. But gog does not need a mascot. There is no reason for gog to have one.
