In late 1990s or early 2000s I watched a comedy show and can't remember the name. It was something like Malcolm in the middle, the main character was a boy about 12 years old and he had an older brother that was around 16 years old. I think they were an Italian family, lower middle-class, living in a small apartment, and I think it was set during 1950s-1960s, but it was not an old show, it was new back then. The show was in English, I think American made.
In my head I have the name "Oliver Beenie" left, but search results on Google don't give anything.
The main character would comment on things like Malcolm would in his show. The only episode I remember is him talking how his brother is always looking good. He tried to take a photo of him when looking bad; when he was sneezing and once when he was on a toilet throwing up, but when the photos would be developed, it would show his brother smiling and looking all handsome like it was taken by a professional photographer in a studio. That was only the intro to the episode.
