Hi people,

I played etrian odyssey and Darkest Dungeon and I am looking for similar dungeon crawler which would have one or more of this things:

-Starting classless or without skills and unlocking them during the game
-Rebuilding the village/city to unlock more possiblities
-Monsters leave the materials which you can use to craft or sell them in the store to unlock new items.
I admit I haven't played the game, so I'm not sure about specifics, but it appears that Iratus shares many traits with Darkest Dungeon:

I second Iratus. It's a nice spin on Darkest Dungeon.
There is also one on steam currently in early access called " Last Spell "

its more of a dungeon runner mixed with a versatile tower defense

you are in charge of defending a city until a group of mages can cast their final spell. for this you get to control 3 characters that level up during the play. also you can unlock more buildings spells and weapons with every playthrough this is by harvesting the soul remnants of the zombies that attack every night. While technically not a dungeon crawler i feel that there are enough similarities with the given set of parameters ^^

also, since i know darkest dungeon i think that those who love that game can have a lot of fun too in this one, the only thing that are not included are a huge list of different units to choose from and its diabolical humor

" OVERCONFIDENCE "

a sci fi variant could be Deep Sky Derelicts or StarCrawlers both don't have the city build aspect though

Yes, I saw the game and the gameplay. When they will come to GOG as the game for now is early alfa, it is my 1st day purchase.
I'd also recommend Hand of Fate and Hand of Fate 2. In these games, you dungeon crawl through picking cards on a table that are composed of other cards you find along the way and the dealer, who is your opponent. Your goal is to beat all ~13 bosses given:

- You restart classes after beating every boss
- Getting tokens from rewards and building up your deck is a form of rebuilding the village/city; both result in more event cards (more possibilities)
- Each event card is different with RNG so when you fight monsters in realtime, there is a chance to gain health, food, gold, or equipment as a reward

I haven't played D&D before, but calling it a single player D&D game with deckbuilding and roguelite elements sounds about right.
