After revisiting M.A.X. again i could not help but wonder if there have been any tries into recreating this format? Though i am a follower of strategic games in a general sense there are so many releases i miss out on either to obscure to be mentioned or maybe stood out of a little amount of time in which i had other preocupations... whatever the reason etc....

Which would you consider either worthy or maybe even trespassing the good old mechanized assault and exploration unit ?

Last time i looked i could not get deadlock work proper, after starting the game up for a 2d try the game changed back to demo mode for some reason, never came around to try it

btw i guess in a way Fallen Haven could be considered somewhat similar with the very math take on combat This must have been some game, had it recommended too me quite a few times now... never managed to find a working copy thoug
