I'm trying to remember a windows 98 desktop destroyer type game I had a demo of back in the early 2000's. I've tried throwing in all kinds of word combos into google to see if I can find it but all I ever get is desktop destroyer itself.

All I remember is:
The game featured a scantily clad female barbarian type that swung a big sword & cast magic.
The enemies were mostly winged eyeball type things with long tails that died in a pool of green blood on the screen.
It overlayed the desktop & gradually 'damaged it' with spells etc.
I think it may have been a German based studio?

It wasn't a great game by any stretch of the imagination but I'm trying to find it so I can put on my win98 laptop for nostalgic purposes and see if she will duke it out with the dreaded eSheep !

Sorry for the necro, but while I was removing some old bookmarks, I noticed this post never went answered.
It might be a very long stretch, but maybe the game has something to do with Xena: Warrior Princess?
I did some researches and it seems the series got a game for Win98, and Xena looks kinda barbarian and wields a sword.
Sadly couldn't find any footage of that specific game/version of the game, so I can't confirm how much more close it is to what you described.

Hmmm... i remember a desktop destroyer game, though it was a win 3.1 demo and basically you'd click and bullet holes would appear where you clicked.

Another more annoying one which once activated anything you touched would move away from the mouse, icons, text, boxes, everything...

But this was 1991-1993 stuff.

There were lots around in the 90's. I remember a Dilbert one and a Beavis & Butthead one too.
The one I'm looking for you actually walked around with the keyboard fighting monsters & it'd gradually smash up the screen too; it wasn't great, just unusual enough that I want to get hold of it for my old 98 build.

I think the woman was a redhead & her sword was 2 handed.
I only ever played it on a demo disk & I think it was shareware.
