Anima Gate of Memories is really good and it is on gog and anime style. But it is not like Final Fantasy... it's more a Devil May Cry with RPG elements.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Earthlock yet, since that seems to be the most FF-like game on GOG.

One game I've seen that is not mentioned is "Chantelise - A Tale of Two Sisters". It's sold on GOG, so you can buy it from here. :)
