i would like to add, after spending some time the last couple of hours with warlords 2 battlecry that this game also has the ability to set mages on autocast and provide troops that gain levels...

it is a horrendous little game though...... 40 hours + gameplay... man some of these older titles expected you to be at least 100+ hours satisfied

Can you specify if is was 3d graphics, that description reminds me Glest, currectly the MegaGlest version is better also is a free software https://megaglest.org/ i dont know if that is what you say.
