Good morning,

Imagine you're looking at the store page of a game you already own on GOG. And, since you already own the game and now want to install it, you want to get to the "actual game" page, the one with the downloads and all the meaty bits.

As far as I can tell, currently you have to go to your library, search for the game, and your there. There doesn't seem to be simpy a link to the good stuff on the store page. I strongly believe, that's an oversight that ought to be remedied. I mean, maybe just make the game title a link to the downloads or something.

Thoughts? Ideas?
It's not flash but most here handle it,without any issues.

Sure, any improvement to the GOG website is welcome.

Me, if I want to install a game, I just find the folder where I've downloaded it. I'm here for the DRM-free games, so naturally I download all the installers and keep backups of them.

Well, that's sure a way to do it. I'd need an extra drive to handle the data load and I kinda don't want to go quite that far, but hey, to each their own, right? ;)

No, this is the point of drm free, it’s your product, you keep it. If you rely on an online service to use it, then you are reliant and controlled by the aforementioned service, not to mention reliant on the internet to get it. No different from streaming services, or other stores like steam. True, some others have online requirement within the game which is different.
Hard drives are dirt cheap, over the Black Friday sale it was something like a £100 a terabyte for up to 20 terabytes.
But then, if you don’t care about your things, as most nowadays don’t, you will lose them at some point.

I'm a big fan of DRM-free, which is a huge part of why I by here and not Steam. That said: I STILL think, making downloading a game easier would be beneficial. :)
