Apparently most or all of the big shill critic gaming websites are outright refusing to review the Lollipop Chainsaw Remake that just came out.

IMO they must be trying to suppress knowledge of the game's existence, because its aesthetics go against the agenda that they want to push.

The head guy for this game posted about how it is Denuvo-free, so he seems to have awareness about how customers don't like Denuvo-DRM.

I'm not sure if he is aware that GOG exists though?

Seems like this game would be a good fit for GOG, especially since the big sites are suppressing information about its existence and thereby trying to make sure that it sells as few copies as possible.

Do any of you know about if the devs have been asked if this game will be coming to GOG?

Do you think this game is likely to come to GOG?
I haven't seen anything about it coming to GOG, though I can't imagine the developers being against it for the reasons you mentioned. While a lot of people assume JP devs are automatically against DRM-free or releasing on GOG, this does fit the profile for games that do make the jump over.

I know someone who knows these guys. Maybe I should drop them a note.
As always:

Looks like a decent remake, although disappointed that there are gameplay tweaks even to the supposed "original mode". They seem pretty minor overall. I always wonder why re-releases and remakes don't just add a toggle to the options somewhere to have everything exactly as it was in the original. Like "Updated gameplay/balance - on/off". Simple as that. But of course, props have to be given for keeping the original mode completely untouched as far as graphics and design goes. No "updating" for XYZ whatever etc.

The loss of several licensed music tracks is also to be expected, but still sucks.

Personally, I'd still rather "abandonware" the original 2012 version to fully experience the original. The same way I did with Asterix & Obelix XXL games. If it came here, I'd probably buy and do the same for this game. Wouldn't have to, if the remake had the option I mentioned above.

And yes, it's ridiculous that the supposed "journalists" are refusing to do their supposed job. But far from surprising and absolutely nothing of value was lost :P

I remember back in the day this game called my attention but I had not the opportunity to play it.
Voted to help ya!
Not worth , since many of the original licensed songs were removed from the remake one .
That's what mods are for.
