djranis: i am waiting for a full review of the complete game
This months Episode 4/5 comes out. So for the full game review you'll have to wait until october/november. However, I played all the way up to the episode 3 finale and MY GOD I LOVE THIS GAME. If you like: TellTale adventure games like Walking Dead/Wolf Among Us (the adventure part, not the QTE action parts), indie "coming of age" films and the occasional super power with time, premonitions and the like thrown in the bag along with some "high school senior year drama", you will like this game. It's being described as a "Veronica Mars meets Twin Peaks" kinda story... I'm still waiting on the "Twin Peaks" part, but everything else is great.

In fact, episode 3 can change A LOT depending on your episode 2 ending (regarding certain character).

PS: Don't water your plant too much ^^

Do you mean to say it's the best of Telltale's games minus the worst? None of that silly QTE stuff in Life Is Strange?

Nope, as much as I hate particular characters in this game I have to appreciate the fact that I won't have to mash q repeatedly.
Yup, no QTE on this game... so far :P And no "suddenly you have to aim!!" moments either. Is an adventure game, and in fact, it does have puzzles (although nothing too difficult or criptic). I consider this to be the "modernization" Walking Dead did with old school adventures without getting rid of the adventure part of the game.
Also, TellTale right now just wh*ring themselves to other property holders to make licensed games.
Life is Strange is a new IP and the backdrop is an ordinary town.

I would say that the thing that makes the lines to cringy to me is that 18-year-olds say them, but it sounds like the dialogue was written for 13 y.o.
And lastly, I think they can do a lot more interesting things with the time rewind mechanic.

Yeah written for a 13yo by a 30 something that hasn't got a clue how people talk.

The time mechanic was used only twice in an interesting way. The rest is just choosing the right things to say or the order therein. Not really a big deal as reviewers were making it out to be.
In the spirit of building up the hype for ep. 5, ableit in an unconventional way at that, I'd like to share with you all this piece of work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMr1yCamF6g

A word of warning; this may change your view and feel of the David Madsen character.

So now that the game is complete, any whispers about it showing up here?

A limited edition is coming, with support for additional languages.
Sadly, nothing suggests that Square Enix will release it here too.
