I think your attitude towards the internet is sensible. However, it's still hard to get used to the difference between interactions in the "real world" and interactions on the internet. It's enough to drive anyone crazy. Rewind 30 years or so and there was no such thing as the internet. People can get away with sayings things on the internet which would land them in trouble in the "real world". I wonder if Mr.Tim Berners-Lee (the creator of the internet) thought that through ? I feel like tracking the so-and-so down sometimes....
