Unfortunately, when your laptop is at work, it is not with you and you therefore don't have access to it.

I wish Tyrian 2000 were cheaper than it currently is on gog.com.

Edit: Further, I also wish for Jill of the Jungle to have its price reduced (currently too expensive for my tastes).

Granted. Unfortunately, all the cooking appliances in your kitchen break down, so you can't cook even if you want to. As a result, all the food you have at home is rather bland, and eating out is unfortunately too expensive for you to do all the time.

I wish for a bug-free version of the game Hollow Knight.

(Also, I think you missed the point I was trying to make with my wish. Hint: "bug" has multiple meanings.)

Granted. There's no more government, and there's now anarchy everywhere.

However, as a side effect of your wish, the laws of nature have been abolished. This has many effects, like walls no longer providing protection from the outside, distances becoming meaningless, temperature becoming an ill-defined concept, and many other things that don't make sense. Eventually, the universe gets into a state where everything's the same, and it softlocks, somehow.

I wish for a Ring +2, +3 against dragons.

Wish granted, but the ring has a -10 to charisma and -10 to luck. Which basically makes the dragon take one look at you, find you incredibly unappealing, shudder and fly off, emptying its bowls while in the air (guess where it lands).

I wish for a higher mental capacity.

Well, your wish failed, as you used the word "was" where the word "were" would be grammatically correct.

I wish that every English speaker knew about the subjunctive in English, and knew exactly when and how to use it.
