After reading a topic about a list of best RPGs I decided to make a GoG top ten -or even top 100- of the GoG forums. Everybody posts his/her top ten RPGs and I`ll try to create a list of the forums favorite RPGs. Let`s have fun! :-)

edit: i totally forgot Neverwinter Nights. hmmmm, now, where do i put this in the list... maybe just before DD but that would leave D:OS out of the list.. oh, well...

Does Sacrifice count as an RPG ?

Which is kinda crazy, since I've heard Temple of Elemental Evil wasn't so great. All the D&D ones probably got so high because they're constantly sold in a pack together. If ordered by rating, then it would be:

The only one on the list that confuses me is Albion, but only because I'd barely heard of it before it showed up on gog. And if I include removed games, Fallout 1 and 2 place on top, and the rest of the list shifts down.

Okay. Reasonable purity (no mouse endurance tests (hack'n'slash), no roguelikes, no tactical RPGs (aka SRPGs)):

Never played: Wizardry series, Might & Magic series, Ultima* series, Witcher* series, Dragon Age series, Ultima Underworld, Betrayal at Krondor, Dark Sun, Gold Box games, Alpha Protocol, Vogel games (except for the only port to Linux, Avadon, which was decent but not great), Icewind Dale 2, Neverwinter Nights 2, Knights of the Chalice, Realms of Arkania, any crowdfunded RPG of note except for Shadowrun (Returns and Dragonfall), Banner Saga (1) and Wasteland 2 (so, Divinity: OS, Serpent in the Staglands, Age of Decadence, UnderRail, Pillars of Eternity etc.).

Haven't played enough: Gothic series, Temple of Elemental Evil, Darklands, Daggerfall, *Ultima 7, *Witcher (1), Albion
