This weekend, we're celebrating the 11th anniversary of GOG.COM's launch. We've been preserving classic games for over a decade now, hand-picking unique modern indies, and sharing all of them DRM-free. Time flies, right?

There's no better way to celebrate this round-plus-one anniversary than with even more games! That's why, together with Anuman Interactive, we're bringing back the classic version of XIII! This unique shooter from 2003 will make you feel like you’re playing a living comic-book, as you chase a gang of conspirators that framed you for murdering the President of the United States. With David Duchovny as the voice of your protagonist, this is a game you simply cannot ignore.

That's not all, as more highly requested games join our DRM-free catalog today! Battle through an onslaught of monsters in DUSK (-25%) with its retro visuals, powerful guns, cross-play multiplayer, and the exclusive THE GOGATORIUM map for the endless mode. Platforming more your style? Explore a fantasy world and crawl through dungeons in procedurally-generated adventure platformer Chasm (-35%). Finally, take a trip to Mars to master your skills and discover the secrets of the Red Planet in two exciting RPG titles - Mars: War Logs (-75%) and The Technomancer (-65%).

We also asked the GOG.COM team what they've been playing recently and picked their brains to learn more about their favorite titles on the platform. Why? To bring back the classic tradition of GOG.COM Staff Picks and provide gamers with great deals on some of our most outstanding and memorable titles. Grab The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition (-70%), Pathfinder: Kingmaker (-50%), Kingdom Come: Deliverance (-50%), Dead Cells (-33%), Stardew Valley (-25%), Hollow Knight (-40%), Heroes of Might and Magic 3: Complete (-75%), Gothic (-75%), Dungeon Keeper 2 (-75%), The Mystery of the Druids (-75%), and many more up to -80%, all hand-picked by our staff!

Discounts for new releases are valid until October 10th, 1 PM UTC and the GOG.COM Staff Picks deals are available until October 7th, 1 PM UTC.

We would also love to know what some of your favorite games are! How many of them are already available on GOG.COM and which ones are you still waiting for?

Love to see that this site survived and grew for so long, and I hope it gets even better, but dropping a ton of the pillars you started with(Like One world price, no regional game versions/one version for all, and others) & adding less classic titles/rejecting several good titles is somewhat troubling.

(Also troubling is how some here keep getting 'vacations' for very long periods for flimsy reasons while major offenders here get light slaps on the wrist every few months even while they break rule after rule here.)

On a lighter note: I do like that we got XIII back, though....great game, to be sure. :)

KainXVIII: Celebrating 11th anniversary with no new DOS releases. This is sad.
Some of the recent releases like Ion Fury and some others look to be along the vein of the old school gameplay we know and love, though, if that's any consolation. :)

gabrielalmeida7: A very happy birthday to GOG! I only discovered the site last year, but it has become one of my favorites.
Speaking of favorites, the games I most like are the Tomb Raider series, the Prince of Persia series, the old DOS platformers (Duke, Dave, Jazz and the like), all which are already here on GOG. Now, a game that has a special place in my heart and I'm still waiting for is Hype: The Time Quest. Other wishes would be James Bond 007: Nightfire and the No One Lives Forever series.
Those are awesome games and I wish gog would sell them so I didn't have to get them "other ways".

(If they get Nightfire it better be the non-cut PC version, though)

Mr.Mumbles: "Most outstanding titles" -> lists Mystery of the Druids. Erm. Okay then! =P

emter_pl: The list is based on votes from our team and you must admit that it's a pretty memorable game ;)
Was it the same team that picks games for the site by any chance? ;)

Mico Selva: Happy anniversary, GOG!

The games that I am most awaiting to buy on GOG are probably Drakan, Heretic 2 and No One Lives Forever. Make it happen guys. :)
I still have Heretic 2 on disc....fun times. I also hope it comes here so gog can show it some love.

My all-time favorite game is Unreal World. At GOG, NeoScavenger and Balrum have earned places among my favorites, but there are others in the queue for a tryout.

Because of a new wealth of games, I haven't bothered much with the ones that are less than immediately fun. All my reviews are positive because at this point there is no reason to spend enough time with the not-immediately-fun games to rate them. They get shelved for some future day.

In addition to using Linux, there are two requirements that limit the potential games that I can enjoy.
- easy/simple mechanics, generally, due to minor physical impairment
- lowish spec requirement - I3-4130 with onboard graphics (HD 4400), 4GB
If it isn't clear that these requirements are met, I must pass.

Many thanks to GOG for making inexpensive DRM-free games available, for making some of these games available for Linux gamers, and for this great site with reviews and a forum.

Dohi64: happy birthday, gog! off the top of my head I'd love to see:

- sanity: aiken's artifact

- freelancer and starlancer
Great games. I also have Sanity on disc. Great little game and "world"...too bad it never had a sequel.

And Freelancer/etc are no brainers for fans of the genre

Ah, Pathfinder: Kingmaker is so tempting at this price (but with season pass the price id doubled :/).

Oddeus: Favorite games on Gog: Too many to list them all :)

Games that are still missing:

Heavy Metal FAKK 2
Vivisector
Great games. I think vivisector is DRM free on Gamersgate, and I have the disc for FAKK2(great game) which comes with the movie.

(Also sent friend request as you seem to be a good egg)

jalister: Titles I really want to see here.

Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor
Isn't the Pool of Radiance game the one with the long as fk strting dungeon? I loved it but sadly lost data and saves when my old PC failed. I still have the discs somewhere, though.

Happy anniversary GOG :D
Happy Anniversary GOG
I'm very happy that I actually buy and own my games here DRM FREE.
And I'm still waiting for MAX PAYNE 1 AND 2, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory And also Duke Nukem.
Happy Anniversary GOG.

Long live GOG.

If Doom 2016 comes here on gog, that will be instabuy for me.
Happy birthday, GOG!

And thanks for bringing back the classic version of XIII, before someone can hide it behind some remastered version or even remove it from sale forever because of a remastered version.
