I liked the previous insomnia sales because they were a great way to learn about games that I might not have noticed otherwise. Basically if there is a game I know I love, I probably have bought it already outside of a sale, but in an insomnia sale being exposed to this many games in a relatively short time meant I got to learn about amazing games, usually modern or indie ones, that I might not have bought otherwise (QUBE, Mousecraft to name a few...).

This time however it's really difficult. Not only I can't access the game page from the front page, by the time I read a bit and take a look at screenshots it's gone already. Any chance of increasing the batch sizes just a tiny bit? Instead of 4x50 make one 200 one.
Take a look at the tracker thread, in the OP there's the full list of games featured in the sale. Make a list of what interests you and be ready for its next apparition. The upside of the current high speed is that games re-appear quite often (I reckon we already are in the 4th iteration).

Thanks, I tried the tracker thread, but for me the point of insomnia sales (as opposed to regular sales) was the kind of on-the-spot buying (wow, this game looks nice, let me quickly read about it a bit and see if it's worth it). The "analyze, make a list and decide then wait" stuff is more in line with regular sales.

I loved the "one classic; one recent" with a possibility of a critical hit formula best so far.

Still, good sale.

I used two windows, one with the front page, and the other to check games. Of course, that requires some desktop space if you want to see both simultaneously, luckily, I'm covered in that respect.

Well, in coincidence and conjunction with the fact that some people like me clicked the picture in hope to get to the store page for it, I would propose a secondary "Insomnia" (Overwatch/Detail/Lurker/whatsoeverCalled) page aside from the front page (that may contain the current format or not with just a link (and thumbnail of the current trade) to that "Insomnia" Page) - and that page would have under its header (alike to its current form) within a frame the store page...
but considering that their servers seem to be unable to handle the current (freebies where available) activity.... well, how would they perform on a more complex task....

Just click on buy now and go back to check the game, the order will be pending in the orders section of your account as long as the pending order (for afew hours) is there you can buy it for that discount, at least that's how it worked for me (noticed it when the servers went down before the paying process i was able to buy it that way even though it was gone already)

well... i often heard that, but me paying always via PSC - I had two times where clicking buy now led to a server fault and I couldn't get back to the choose your payment GoG page and one time where I had the discount shown on the page, clicked the Paysafe field and buy now and ended up on the paysafe payment side with a charge without the discount (of course I just closed that page)... neither of those 3 cases is (to my knowledge and abilities so far) to be found or recovered via the website in a form that I could complete those transactions (for the first two cases I wouldn't wan't that because I got 'em later on, and for the first - well, not without the discount.... and for the record I got that one also in a later appearance)

Hm, maybe GOG patched it because it kind of destroys the intention behind this kind of sale.
I dont know why it should be different for PSC, it worked with Paypal.
I would try it again so I can say if it's becasue of the payment method or not but I don't have any money left.

Oops... sorry, and I missunderstood your post (maybe because those 3 incidences still puzzled me) - of course, once I got to the paysafe side via buy now I had all the time you mentioned (not sure if PS have a timeout for the transaction).... I missunderstood/overread the "buy now"(click) action as a prerequisit in your context (considered "buy now" meant as clicking the offer, not the actual "pay" button)....

P.S.: Damned, should consider to switch from german gog-view to english....

I'll switch to german for moment since it' easier to explain it that way (it seems like missunderstood my second comment not my first one, or I misunderstood your answer):

Egal wie/whatsoever - I guess we are leaving the Threads Topic with that discussion (of my experiences with the payment page) ;)
