Aatami: That was my main concern, i'm not familiar with Aorus. A larger screen would be more ideal too but the specs look good for the price. I think I might risk it and grab that.

timppu: I would. Hey, it is only £430 so you won't lose much. :) (and I presume it has some warranty). The two customer reviews were quite favorable too. Funny thing also that apparently someone is selling that also second-hand in Amazon, but for a £90 higher price.

Really, I can't understand how it can be that cheap, with 16GB RAM, relatively high-end mobile GPU, 2x 250GB SSd etc... The only thing is that it has Windows 8.1, is there still a free option to upgrade it to Windows 10? (I'd prefer Windows 10 over Windows 8.1; if some old game refuses to run on Windows 10, it probably won't run on Windows 8.1 either).
I think you can still upgrade to 10 if enable disability functions such as on screen narrator or magnifier.

mechmouse: A look at their other items, show reasonable pricing, so it could be a typo.
Unfortunately, that seems possible. There is possibly a 1 missing in front of the price, so the real price might be £1430... That would make much more sense as the specs are indeed very impressive. I mean, dual SSD, 16GB RAM, GTX 970M... come on!

I guess it doesn't hurt to try if they really sell it for £430. And after all, someone was selling it used for almost the same price: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B00RZDH3W8/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used

This is all so confusing. Aatami, try to get it and let us know.

My main worry is its a scam. But it looks more like typo.

There is a caveat in amazon's T+C's that allows them not to honour mis-listed prices.

I'd go for it, but pay via paypal or credit card for extra protection.

One here, slightly higher price, similar specs but a larger screen. Think I will go with this one instead.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01NAP5GO3/ - £849

15.6", i7-7700HQ, 16 GB DDR4, 128 SSD + 1 TB, Full HD 1920x1080, GTX 960M GPU, Win 10.

I know it's over your budget but for a gaming laptop i wouldn't go lower than these specs, cheers!

EDIT: This one is also not bad either if you are on tighter budget and don't have enough for MSI:

15.6", i5-6300HQ, Full HD 1920x1080, GTX 950 GPU, 12 GB RAM, 1 TB + 128 SSD, Win 10.

If you want it for gaming don't buy smth with Intel GPU....
I'm pretty sure around that price you can find a laptop with atleast I5 + GTX 950M.

Any news, Aatami? Did you end up buying any of those, and what are your experiences so far?

I just noticed that all of them are "currently unavailable", does it mean they temporarily ran out of them, or it was a one-time offer? I just couldn't figure out how they could sell a GTX 970M gaming laptop for under £500, that's why I am interested to hear...

Forgot to post back. The orders were cancelled and they were put back up for a slightly higher price. This happend on multiple occasions. I'm not sure what the purpose is but if I were to guess it would be to bump the listing up the top seller list until it gets to its proper price.

I decided not to buy one and wait.

Huh? Sounds like some kind of scam or whatever. I guess it was too good to be true after all, I couldn't figure out how such pretty good gaming laptop would be offered so cheaply. I'd expect to have to pay something like 1500-2000€ here for a laptop with similar specs, especially the one which had 16GB RAM, 2x SSD drives etc.

Maybe. I was refunded on all occasions though which is what made me think it was just to bump up the stats of the item on Amazon.
