After getting the wax copies of the runes in the hive caves I re-enter the Hulan Jungle and Dawn is waiting for me. She pulls me into a cutscene that never starts. Can't give her anything, she never says anything, game isn't frozen, the interaction just never activates. Forced to alt-F4. Anyone know how to fix this?

Never encountered that, and I recently was able to finish LoL2 for the first time last year.

I had to squeak past the miserable tavern bug.

Have you tried following a guide suggestion at that point?

I had a save close to that scene so replayed to that point as well. Cannot recreate your issue. Dawn always speaks to me and I can give her a wax copy of the runes with no issue.

You may want to check if one of the game files has been corrupted. Or even try the save in a fresh install of Lands of Lore 2.

Otherwise...
Are you using the included version of DosBOX?
Glide enabled or disabled?
Did you restore your graphics settings and original "lolg.exe -CD .." after bypassing the Cantina bug or did you end up attacking Baccata instead of using the "lolg.exe -LOWMEM -CD .."?

I'll try a fresh install and if that doesn't work just retry the jungle part.

I'm using the version of DosBox included and whatever the default Glide settings would be. I didn't touch anything about the install until the tavern skip, which I did change back as they instructed.
