It would actually make you feel better if you stopped this mis-behaviour now. Keeping it up will just feed the negativity. Try helping others and others will help you. (well, sometimes people wont give a crap, but most of the time, people will appreciate acts of good will).

You obviously understand that people are annoyed with you for what you have done, so you are aware of your actions.

My sympathies are with you for experiencing bullying, but you have to try and use a more positive apporach to life, rather than bringing others down. That's what bullies do to others....
We have tried to shun the guy, and it just makes him want to scam others more and more. Perhaps trying to reason with the guy, and potentially getting him to change his ways, he can redeem himself.

It's a long shot, but it's a different approach.

I am willing to pay my debt. As i said, i'm poor and i cant help with anything money related. But i will gladly help with anything that i can. I'm not sure if i'll stay on this community after what i did but all i can say is that I AM TRULY SORRY. You have opened my eyes. People are obviously annoyed and i want to change that in any way that i can. Please forgive me. If you do forgive me, i will try my best to help the community.

The best thing you can do is to not keep creating multiple accounts and trying to steal game codes from people. People will be glad for it to stop.

After that, you may find that life in general may be easier. Instead of trying to take advantage of others, make do with what you have, try to help others (doesn't have to include money always) just answering peoples questions etc.

The worst thing you could do is carry on the way you were. Nobody will like you if you do.

Stick with your current profile. Try and post in other threads, and share your views about things (for example the new disney and star wars merger).

If people downvote you all the time, it's because they don't like what you did (as a scammer). But it's better to show people you want to change/face the consequences, than hiding behind a new profile.

I hope that you can become a productive member, i really do. And you would, as long as you never mess anyone around ever again.

I concur, people are more willing to believe you are repentant if you discontinue your misbegotten ways. I concur also that money isn't necessary to help. I don't have much cash either but I try to offer tips, suggestions and helpful info when I feel I can contribute something to a topic. You attract more bees with honey than with vinegar.

Also true, people are more willing to have your back, when they feel you aren't going to put a knife in theirs.

I want to help out people mostly on these threads: Ninja giveaway, Classifieds. That's where i did most of the damage. I will eventually move on to other threads. I have to go soon, but i will reply to any questions. Thank you. I still want to know if you want me to create a new account.

If you can't pay those people back, you'll just be making a nuisance of yourself in the ninja/classifieds threads.

Like i said, being here is not about making profits and screwing people over. Try and be an active member and take part in conversations!

Listen to gameon and Theta, if you show yourself to be helpful and not a douche then people will be more likely to warm up to you. Although, it will take some work and patience on your part to show this to be the case. Yes, you will be auto downvoted, but this is where the patience part comes in.

It would also be a good idea not join any giveaways for a while. If you want to be a part of this community you need to contribute something instead of take. Just shooting the breeze or sharing information will be sufficient, you don't have to buy people gifts.

Although, it would be nice if you give some games back to the people you scammed, but if you don't have the money now just make it a whenever kind of thing. If you happen to have an unused game code, toss it into the ninja giveaway thread. It will help.

edit: I would advise you avoid the classified and the ninja giveaway threads. If you don't have any codes to contribute, avoid.

Don't forget to push for steam to cross reference his accounts with IPs so he can get banned out of all the games he took and don't forget to downvote and report him as spam.

I don't buy into that redemption speech either. He's just affraid of getting banned now that everyone on GOG and Steam know that he is a scammer, and one of his accounts got banned from trading. That's all.

Easier said than done. You have to prove that with actions, not words. Start by giving back the games to the people that you scammed, and maybe some of them will forgive you.

Although I'm also quite sceptical of redemption, there is no way to give games back (except rebuying them), and if the story is true, there is no way he can afford that.

Yes, i know that there is no way of giving the games back if he has already redeemed them. But he should try to rebuy those games and gift them to the guys he scammed. As far as i know he didn't scam that many people, and most of these were for rather cheap games. I've seen 3 or maybe 4 reports of scams from this guy.

I'm doubtful of it too believe it not, if he wants to redeem himself he'll need to work for it. But even then, I'm not going to trade with him (not that I do trades anyway for this reason).

My guess is that our guy is not older than 15-16 and knowing state in 3rd world countries...everything seems expensive. Hell, even I find my entertainment, even cheap one like GOG or Steam sales, and my friends look at me like I'm insane when I tell them I spend money to buy games. They have opinion that there is no point in buying when you can just torrent them. And Serbia is not really 3rd world county. Almost but not really.

On the other hand, none of us became scammer. It's more fair to go and torrent damn thing instead of screwing someone.
