Lol, what a weird purchase but checking that wiki page (and destroying your dream in the process) it makes sense, they wanted a company to work on a moba.
Yeah, I wouldn't count on a new KoH, Crytek is having financial problems, they're focusing on f2p model and the genre (rts) isn't that hot at the moment.

Yeah, My dreams were crushed when they announced that MOBA.

They really could make a really awesome RTS game ala Kingdom Wars with the battles of Total War. I personally am Looking forward to the announcement of the "Unannounced Game Consoles". Just saying :)
