According to https://gameranx.com/updates/id/525168/article/kingdom-come-deliverance-ii-is-coming-drm-free-to-gog-this-spring/

"We would point out that the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance originally released on February 13, 2018. It then came to GOG on February 27, 2018. So it’s possible that this was a measure the studio took to protect their game’s launch sales."

So it's obviously over two weeks of the launch on other stores, but the sequel had a lot more expectations, hype and budget than the first game.
Patience, young grasshopper
Either the coming week or the week after, according to

They can't be serious with the quoted third sentence right? The entire article is really strange talking about DRM for a game like Kingdom Come: Deliverance... If it was a Capcom game - sure I would agree or any studio that had Denuvo initially and then removed it and the game came here. This would make sense. But Kingdom Come: Deliverance never had anything like it and the Steam DRM is probably removed faster than this article takes to be written...

The "coming soon" button in the store makes me nervous :)
In the meanwhile KCD 2 is about to be version 1.2, and Warhorse is
planning to be done with the game by the end of the year.

AdrianMorales85: Yes, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is coming to GOG. When exactly, though? It's already out on Steam and the Epic Store. The game doesn't have Denuvo, either, so I don't think it's a DRM-related issue. What's the holdup? Why are things so slow with GOG?
Spring starts either on 21.03 or 01.03 (astronomically and meteorically) and the news talked about spring.

Thanks gameranx, but the studio doesn't decide. The publisher does, and this one is notorious for a lot of things.

I said back in the old thread that the more successful the game is, the more likely the publisher would postpone the GOG release.

I really hope that's biting me in the ass next week.

Hey look at it this way, if it's delayed until the end of the year the game will be fully cooked :)
