There has been a little acceleration in the last several days, after it had leveled off around 50k. But it's not really on track just yet.

This tends to happen. Just because you have X money doesn't mean you want to spend any more than absolutely necessary. 8k twelve hours in advance is less than 30k or 40k a week in advance.
