Hello,
This is getting very frustrating for me, every time GOG updates ( last 3) my keyboard responds in a macro manor and I cannot type, need to restart PC and not open GOG so I can Google a solution with no luck I must add.

I have a Corsair RGB K95 running on W7

Is there a fix or working around I can do to solve this ?

P.S. in past a fresh restart of PC helped but not on this last update, as soon as GOG launched bam not more functioning keyboard, also mouse clicks are inverted (MMO7 madcatz mouse)

2 things you can do:

1) Post your issue here.
2) Upload your logs to http://mantis.gog.com/ as detailed in this post.

Please do let us know via Mantis if you are using any keyboard/mouse suites, like with LogiTech mice and keyboards, for your keyboard and mouse as that's what this issue sounds like :)

Will do , and I can confirm I am not using any suites, this issue normally places itself with a restart so I am pretty sure it is not due to software from either the keyboard or mouse causing a conflic
I encountered the same issue after installing version 1.0.5.14 on Windows 8.1 Pro x64.
I use a K95 RGB keyboard as well. I also use Corsair Utility Engine (1.7.106).
The issue also occurs if I unplug the K95 and use a different keyboard (a very old Logitech UltraX, that uses the standard Windows keyboard driver).

What's strange is that the issue no longer occurs if I boot a virtual machine in VMware and start typing there.
Clean reinstall of keyboard drivers.

I have posted on the Mantis site for bug and issues with GOG , I have been asked to try with another keyboard ( standard windows keyboard) and still have same issue, re-installing keyboard driver ( utility) has no effect on this bug.

I have advised support team of same, still waiting for a reply, it is very frustrating since I must restart my PC every time just to get my keyboard and mouse functions back to normal and still can t play Witcher 3 connected so that means no updates or extras.

looking forward to a follow up from support on this issues especially knowing I am not the only one experiencing the problem

jabberwacky: that means no updates or extras.
You can also download the patches/DLCs for Witcher 3 through your browser with no need to use Galaxy, at least till support gets back to you.
I've fixed the Problem on my PC and maybe i've got a workaround for you.

I disabled some entrys in the windows startup by typing "msconfig" in the start menu

I disabled an old entry for bitdefender antivirus (installer Launcher) that i dont use since 1 year and also:

- Brother Status Monitor Application
- Control Center (from Brother)
- iCloud for Windows (3 times)
- Quick Time (Apple)
- Web Updater and RemoTerm from PCTV Systems (TV Card Application)
- Folding@Home Client

After a Restart the problem wasnt there.....

I experienced the same thing. First time I encountered this I rebooted. Later I noticed that programs behave as if ALT were pressed at all times and pressing Alt Gr one time was all I had to do to "fix" it.

Hello F4ll0ut
Sorry been away and just saw your port, not sure what key you are pressing to get your fix ?
Alt + ??

I am still experiencing issues with GOG even after upgrading to W10 and it seems like no resolve from their support grp on this either as of today.

[Alt Gr] ist the right Alt key, at least "Alt Gr" (Alt Groß) is what it's called on German layouts. Historically it was a shortcut for Alt+Shift, but nowadays it's an extra key.

Alt Gr, that's the Alt key on the right side of the keyboard. It has worked several times for me. I can't guarantee that I didn't accidentally press something else before that, though. I'm positive, though, that pressing Alt Gr was the moment the keyboard started working normally again.

Actually it stands for "Alt Graph" or "Alt Graphic" and "Alt Gr" or "AltGr" is what it's called internationally. Admittedly I also thought it was the German name of the key until I noticed that it's the same on Polish keyboards.
