With Durant joining the GSW, I find nearly zero reason to even watch or care about NBA now.
At most I'll just read the online news time to time for Timberwolves news I guess.

Accatone: YES, that's too! I know the feeling of those VHS days. I'm a Lakers fan and I recorded a few Lakers games back in the day. I also love Lakers versus Celtics and the NBA Playoffs (I even wrote a review about it 16 years ago! Please don't read it, it's awful. But I like the bottom line: "Despite the lack of really good computer opponents this is the must-have computer basketball game whether you like basketball or not!")

Man, you just made me go through a box of floppy disks, and guess what, I found Lakers vs Celtics! Now if only I had a floppy drive to check it... I might do that tomorrow. Anyway, even if it doesn't work it's great memories :)

(I've also found a floppy disk, just a single one, labeled "Internet". I wonder what's in there. Maybe a backup of the whole Internet at that time? :-D)
Are they coming out to play?

Wow, you have a copy of the game? That's amazing! If you can't make it work, you can always try the game through Internet Archive:

Well, everyone thought GSW would be the champions this year (and they had the best season win record ever!) but looked what happened! They were beaten even though they were 3-1 up in the finals. And no NBA team has ever come back from a 3-1 deficit. And that's what Lebron and his crew overcame. Yes, GSW is the favorite team to win the trophy next year but everything can change and NBA is not all about winning a championship. I really like your Timberwolves team and they have some great young players like Towns, Wiggins and LaVine. You've a very promising young core and I like watching this team. I'm also curious about the new NBA players, especially Simmons and Ingram. I think it will be a great year.

I expected he would stay one more year with OKC but he chose to sign with the team that had just beaten him in this year's conference finals. There's a hilarious video of an OKC fan who is really, really mad about Durant's leaving the team:

Kevin Durant is one of the most accomplished basketball players of his generation, having won numerous awards and accolades throughout his career. Born in Washington D.C. in 1988, Durant first rose to prominence as a high school basketball player, where he was named the Washington Post's All-Met Basketball Player of the Year in 2006.

After a standout freshman season at the University of Texas, Durant declared for the NBA draft and was selected as the second overall pick by the Seattle SuperSonics (now the Oklahoma City Thunder) in 2007. In his rookie season, Durant averaged an impressive 20.3 points per game and was named the NBA Rookie of the Year.
