Engage turbo download speeds

It's been planned, teased, tweaked, and now implemented. Turbo Charged, the eagerly anticipated 1.1 update for Kerbal Space Program is now out and comes with a changelog which is visible from space. Here are some highlights:

- Now running on Unity 5, allowing for much better performance, 64-bit support, and quicker loading times
- Almost all interface elements have been redesigned and tweaked. Most notable tweaks can be found in the map view, staging, IVA portraits and the right-click part menus
- The KSPedia has been added, and will be the primary source for information on just about anything in the game
- Tutorials have been extended and reworked from the ground up. New tutorials will cover topics ranging from basic and advanced construction and flight, to docking and landing on Mun.

And for those who haven't tried Kerbal Space Program yet, now is the perfect time as it's 40% off until April 24, 3:59 PM UTC.

If you are still hesitant to dive into the game, check out these manly tutorial videos by Mr. Scott Manley:

So many games, so little time!
Little tardy on the update? :P
I had a little problem with it at first after doing a clean install (i.e. uninstalling previous version without keeping saves), it used a 640x480 windows that is too small, even the configuration option screen from within the game is bigger than the window, one of the option that cannot be changed because of this is the screen resolution.

The solution is to use the first splash screen setting button (at the bottom, it looks like a gear) before hitting play.

I haven't played further yet so I don't know if other weird issues are lurking around.
now let's wait for the upcoming hotfix patches :p

Oddly enough, the update was available in my library last night. It seems like the update announcement was the one that was tardy.

That's what I meant. OOOPS! :P I didn't phrase it very well.

Yeah, I got the update here yesterday and played 1.1 most of last night.

OT, I suck at this game. :P
So was mine. Timing on my setup file says:

21 Apr 16 01:31 29.683.264 setup_kerbal_space_program_2.4.0.6.exe

My timezone is UTC+1.

BTW this is probably the game that I have wasted most time on within the last year. And i enjoyed most minute's wasted.

So I can recommend this game.

No one gets shot here. So it is a proof of one can make a successful peaceful game...
BONUS. 10 / 10

I never accomplish anything, I just love going crazy trying to come up with different outlandish ways to fail. :P I think GameSpot once said of the game, "Never has failure been so much fun."
Isn't it a really good time to discount it? :)

Disclamer: I have it, its for the others.

Edit: Ignore, its already discounted! Good job, GOG!!

I love this game, but it proves that NASA should never EVER hire me.
