I still haven't checked on Berserk 2016 TV series, I think it's finally time to watch it. The original from 1997 was quite good.

Woke up to this news. I'm truly sad. Miura was such an amazing artist and storyteller.

Berserk is my favourite manga series of all time. I remember back in 2005, a friend of mine told me to watch Berserk, the 1997 anime series. I immediately fell in love with it until that famous cliffhanger that left me jaw dropped. That couldn't be it and so I looked for the manga. It blew my mind even more and I couldn't stop reading it. The art style, the much more rich story, the complex characters. It was nothing like what I've seen/read until that time. A truly epic masterpiece, that saddens me that it probably will never get finished. However, I'm happy that we got to experience this series.

This amazing song is now also Miura's theme.

May Miura rest in peace. He will surely be missed.

Fuck...I just got into this last month.

Just read all the Manga, watched the 1997 Anime. The Golden Age Movies, even the shitty 2016 anime.

This is beyond what I can express in words.

Shocking, this is just shocking.

I wonder if Miura has an assistant or something who could possibly carry on his work, I know many manga artists have assistants who do backgrounds and other work, and are talented artists in their own right. I know Nihei had an amazing assistant (Q. Hayashida) who eventually went on to make her own manga (Dorohedoro). But I guess not because the art just wouldn't be the same.

And there goes any chance of this manga being completed.

I have never been a fan, but that's a loss indeed.
