I would like to thank SirPrimalform for leading me to a software called "WiinUPro" which helped me get my Switch Pro Controller up and running.

Not sure if anyone has found a solution to this, but I can't seem to get the right analog stick on a Switch Pro controller to respond correctly in JoyToKey. When I move the stick up and down, it registers as left/right, and moving left and right doesn't seem to do anything. I realize that a Switch Pro controller isn't the most widely used device for controlling games on PC, but I was just wondering if anyone has figured out how to get them to work correctly.

Don't Switch controllers need custom drivers to work correctly? I know that it's possible to use them, but I don't think they show up correctly without third party software.

I get the feeling it'd be a lost less hassle to just buy a dedicated controller.

Really interested in the sn30 pro or the sn30pro + that looks like a ps2 controller. and I heard they are amazing in quality compared to other third party stuff. is it true?

I've got one I use quite often, and it feels as much as a SNES controller with modern controls can.

Yes, and there's 4 modes to switch into.

Xinnput, Dinput, PS4 mode, and Switch Mode.

I didn't consider that. Is there a specific site that I have to go to get these drivers? Or will a simple search suffice? I actually do have a dedicated controller, I primarily use an Xbox One controller to do most of the stuff with JoyToKey, I just wanted to know if it were possible or not.

That, I haven't a clue about. Console controllers are for consoles.

I can't remember what I found or where, but googling should do the trick. I looked into it a few months back but didn't get around to actually getting it set up.

Yeah, I understand. It's just that if I can find a way to use something, I'll try it out. While I'm familiar with the Xbox layout by this point, I've always preferred Nintendo's ABXY layout, and not the BAYX layout on Xbox controllers. I also took into consideration the 8BitDo controllers, they do seem to be a great alternative, I've just never had the opportunity to try them out. Since you own one, how do they feel in the hand? What is the quality of the sticks?

The feel is as previously described. It feels like a SNES controller.

As for the sticks, they seem like the rubbery PS4 sticks.

I've tried searching for specific drivers, but have found nothing as of yet. I have already found out about x360ce, even though that doesn't really solve the problem. I will continue looking.

I may be mistaken, but wasn't there a big announcement that the Switch Pro controller will be supported natively on STEAM, exactly because there are no drivers for PC? I wouldn't be surprised if there still are no drivers available.
