Whoever first thought of putting a pineapple on a pizza should be awarded the badge of worst taste ever. The rest just go with the flow in order to look cool, but we all know that it doesn't work.

yes. It's the only thing I ever disliked pineapple on, and I typically go out of my way to try pineapple dishes.

Sounds like a good combo actually! Next time I go out for a thin crust pie I might try this one (I'm terrible at making pizza at home and don't even attempt it anymore).

I also like Groot's suggestion of tossing some prosciutto on that bad boy.

You are totally wrong! Even the classic game Pizza Connection (which makes it a Pizza authority as far as this forum is concerned) had an entire section in the ingredients menu for fruits!
Besides,like tomatos Jalapenos are also fruits. And olives and whatnot...

You don't want to mix a sweet flavor with a spicy flavor exclusively. It doesn't really work all that well as the two tastes are opposite of each other.

What you want to do is mix a spicy flavor with a savory flavor. The fats can help cancel out the burning of spices, thus ensuing you get the taste with the heat blunted.

Throw on something greasy like sausage, pepperoni or bacon. That'll work real well. Canadian Bacon or Ham work very well with Pineapple, so I'd imagine something similar would work just as well with the Jalepeno while still complementing the Pineapple

Still better than almonds, cinnamon, pineapple or any other such nonsense.
