Pillars of eternity stuck downloading. It's at same point in donwload for over an hour. Meaning, there's a download speed, but nothing happens. What should I do?
I'm using gog galaxy. Windows 7.

As to a cause, it could one of a dozen reasons. Everything from a backhoe cut your line to a rerouting of your connection that didn't take to little Kimmie next door has discovered Jpop and is downloading everything she can find to well the gods of the Internet have picked your randomly to mess with you. :)

I haven't had to play with settings for a long time, but in the gog downloader, I had to set the number of simultaneous downloads to 1 or it would give me a similar issue.

I'm not sure if that seeing is in Galaxy or not.

Of course, try turning it off and on again.

Downloaded it a few days ago with no issue. 20 hours into a replay right now.

I always leave stuff like that set to 1.

if worse comes tp worse, download outside galaxy from the web portal then import the game to galaxy after installing.

If you have a fast connection (or already have backed up the installers) it's often helpful to download the classic installer and install from there, then (you're using Galaxy I guess) fire up Galaxy (often it sees the game on it's own, otherwise import) and let it do its little update dance and then you're fine to go.

Sounds like your internet is broken then. Doesn't work in Galaxy or in browser. Check with your ISP.
I had it the other day with Ghost of Tale, latest version wouldn't download the bin, tried again a day or so later and it went through fine. Only trouble I have had with browser downloads in years.

Still no dice.

You will need to contact support and or your ISP. You have said if other downloads work?
No other downloads = your ISP
Some other downloads = problem GOGs end.

I got game from loot box a while back. Keep in my I was able to play it for 30 hours, but I deinstall the game and now I regret the decission. It's only game I have problems. Even NWN2 had more smooth and fast download.
