I have a mass library of steam games from before I discovered gog, would be nice to sync that over. I know gog tried this themselves a few times already, but does anyone know about a service like movies anywhere but for games?

You mean like a Netflix or something but aimed at gamers?

on a sidenote, this is weird, i've seen so many videos lately that present themselves with a gun similar to your avatar. Is this a new trend?
To other people like me, who did not understand what this is about, Movies Anywhere is a DRMed distribution system for video content: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Movies_Anywhere

Well, not exaclty. Games are an interactive medium and while there are cloud gaming services, they're not exactly like just going to Netflix and putting on an arbitrary title that I won't name, since Netflix has gotten rid of most anything I'd be interested in.

Gamefly offers this service for physical games, but that's a unique mess unto itself.
For those who don't know movies anywhere essentially syncs your movies library for select titles across services. For example, if Shrek is eligible, I can purchase it on Amazon but then watch it on Vudu. I essentially want something like that but for Steam and GOG.

This gun is a meme image that has been floating around for a while, I just slapped it on the default GOG avatar
